Hi has anyone used their 1 year fixed bond at 4.10%. I’ve never done anything like this before and I want to make sure my money is safe as i’ve never heard of this bank. Thanks

Had never heard of them before but if they have FSCS protection as they claim, your savings are safe up to £85k

You can get better then 4.1% for 1 year fixes at better known banks: https://moneyfacts.co.uk/savings-accounts/1-year-fixed-rate-bonds/?quick-links-first=false

Access Bank is FSCS Registered (The Access Bank UK Limited (FRN:478415)) so your savings up to £85K are covered. However, you can do better than 4.1% for a 1 year fix.

According to Savings Champion, Access Bank Sensible Savings are currently paying the best interest rate for a 3 year FRB at 4.4%.
Has anyone applied recently? Did the electronic ID verification go OK?
Considering applying but they seem to want you to send all the funds before they verify your ID electronically and open the account.
Do not want the hassle of trying to get my funds back if they cannot verify my ID electronically (and I do not want to send proof of ID in the post).
