National insurance

I work but don’t earn enough to pay national insurance, but I do get some universal credit, will ni be paid for me on the universal credit

    UC pays class 3 NI credits towards your state pension.

    UC pays class 3 NI credits towards your state pension. 
    Apologies this come with a pedant alert - NI gives Class 3 NI credits - it doesn't pay anything.

    If you earn more than £123/week you are treated as having paid Class 1 contributions even though you don't actually pay anything.
