Central heating off feet always cold

I seem to manage to keep the rest of me okay, sat in my room it's 13c. Pretty warm by my standards. However, my feet are always ending up cold and wet. Doesn't matter how many socks I seem to wear one over the top. I'm not diabetic or do I have any sort of circulation problems. Any tips?

13c is too low but if you don't have circulation problems you are one of the people that have cold feet0

You need a thin wicking liner sock next to your skin, this should remove the moisture that is making your skin cold. Then perhaps a thicker sock layer over that liner. If the outer layers are too tight they will just trap the moisture next to your skin still leaving you cold.Change them all several times a day, drying your feet each time, that should also help.An alternative perhaps is socks designed for the artic or sub-zero temperatureWhat type of slippers or shoes are you wearing indoors?
You might consider compression socks/stockings if your circulation is poor.Saving for Christmas 2023 - £1 a day: #16. £90/£365

Put a pair of thermal socks on. But how do your feet end up wet?1

Take them out of the washing up bowl? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
If your feet are wet you're sweating in your socks, then you get cold and clammy so your socks are either man made materials and keeping them sweaty or too tight. The best insulation I've found for keeping feet warm is to have the thickest sole you can, and make sure your socks are not tight, and that either they or leg warmers cover your ankles as well. My OH has size 11 feet and the normal socks sold are size 7-11 but they're not actually big enough for him , he needs socks made especially for bigger feet, they last longer, and they odn't crush his feet or are too tight around his ankles.

I’m a bit puzzled. This is just the latest in a weird set of posts about saving money. Where on earth is OP that they need to put the heating on to get to 13C? Especially as in another thread they say the heating is set to 17.4

I suspect your feet are wet because the moisture can't get out (multiple socks), and that's cooling and then sucking the heat outta your feet.
One pair of normal socks, and slippers.I'm unsure about my spine, I think it's holding me back.0 -

Reduce the number of socks to one on each foot, wear slippers & raise your feet off the floor using a pouffe, sofa or coffee table as cold air will congregate at floor level.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
