Do you rent through a social landlord (local authority or housing association)? If you do, speak to your housing officer and see if they know any sources.Signature removed for peace of mind1

It varies between area so you need to ask/check locally.If you’re in a union they may have some sort of welfare fund that might help.
You can also pick up good quality secondhand clothes furniture and bedding from freegle, Freecycle, olio, those sorts of sites/apps.You can also check on here although I suspect many organisations will be hugely oversubscribed with applications.
