Energy Price Guarantee

Options
Has anyone else noticed that E.on Next gives too little in the Energy Price Guarantee calculation?  I acknowledge it's only pennies in my case (11p short on my gas credit, 1p short on electricity), but if they are using more accurate figures to collect from the government, and doing that for every customer, then they are making a massive profit from the scheme.

I think these are just rounding errors. In my case electricity is at 40.306p/kWh before the EPG discount. The discount is 8.42p/kWh making 31.886p/kWh (excluding VAT). Add in the VAT and it becomes 33.4803p/kWh which is spot on the EPG rate for my region.

It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?

Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.
