Yes, that is sign is "forbidding" (not forbidden). There is no "offer" of anything, therefore nothing to agree to (Accept). Hence, there can be no "offer" to "accept" and so there can be no "contract".

As a matter of interest, reading back through this thread, it is not clear that when you filed your defence, did yo all the other paragraphs besides the ones you showed us?

Hi can anybody help me please with my witness statement as I am writing it now and a bit stuck on how to go about writing it as I can not find anything on forbidding signs. I have to send my witness statement in by Tuesday to the court.

See the exemplar WS bundle v3 posted by @aphex007 (on their thread) and the much more recent wording I added in a reply last week on the Template Defence thread.

    Thank you,

can i use these cases for my witness statement PCM-UK v Bull et all B4GF26K6 [2016], UKPC v Masterson B4GF26K6[2016], Horizon Parking v Mr J C5GF17X2 [2016] as i am confused on what to use as a defence or will these be sufficient?

Yes you can mention those cases but they aren't precedents. You've already done your defence.

This stage is now your 'story' and your evidence.

If you look at the two that I told you to read (my new wording, plus the bundle seen in the example by @aphex007 ) you'll see what to put!

There's also a good example of how someone has adapted my wording, showing their whole WS bundle, posted by @baz417 here today:
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/80231994/#Comment_80231994

I'd say that's the new exemplar WS bundle.

Please read each day's threads - when you can - to learn from relevant ones, to help your own confidence & knowledge.

We regulars read and reply to ALL of them, sometimes over a hundred new posts a day.  You only need to skim read titles to dip into court claim ones.  You'll learn so much and would have already known what sort of detail to put (and the standard Exhibits) from baz417's example today.
