Tg that house looks lovely, not too big, remember we all need our own rooms when we come over to stay lol. No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

I know so exciting but nothing yet so trying not to think about it. Working in a different office today as we are away for the long weekend good trip here DG doing her course then I am taking over for the afternoon.
I do have a ton of work but got a nice set up here with second screen and keyboard mouse so all is good. Also working here Monday which is really cool
Poor cats having to be left alone they were not impressed poor babies.
No spend yesterday which was nice and hopefully this trip will mostly by covered by expenses from MS we might need petrol but the car is really small so does not use a lot.
Right best get back to work please will the universe to give me a nice call later from the estate agents. We have started thinking of the smaller house with the private beach I did go and see we think we can make it work. Especially if the timescale is April you could do a lot of work before you actually need to move in. Still too early need to wait for that call if it happens. They might have found somewhere else to buy and are weighing up their options.Save £12k in 25 No 49

We are having a great time with our turkey and tinsel break. Were the youngest by miles but every are really friendly and the staff and service is great.Mystery part going ok just a bit behind logging it all but doing it before dinner it’s music bingo now. We’ve been out to buy Xmas jumpers £17 in TK Max and an expensive one in Sainsbo plus some Alice bands but used nectar points so only £12.50.I love all the Xmas entertainment just a shame the weather is so grim. Yesterday were lovely but we were both working over here and did not arrive at hotel until after it was dark.Food amazing diet still ok just about.Save £12k in 25 No 49

We are fully Xmassed out now last night was New Year complete with Panty, last night at the Proms, Old lang Syne etc so stuffed really not good for the diet but only had beers last night. Almost done everything I need for the Mystery shop so not too much to do tomorrow when I am back on my own computer.
Working today from these offices and have a couple of meetings plus a busy next week. I have also been paid so done some shuffling and the credit card is cleared bar this months spend which is DGs knee specialist app and also my insoles. Once the MS pays I can pay some more of that card which will be good.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Thanks LWAP and SH for the good wished re the house sale they only phoned and asked about the timeline Thursday and she said she had to speak to her husband. My estate agent chased them Friday and called to say they had chase more left messages and emailed. I have now told them to back off if it was me I would be annoyed. Yes it would be nice to know if it is a no but they might be in the middle of looking at their options or wanting to get a bit further or look at what they can borrow so no point in chasing right now. Yes I wish it was better news but they know we have taken it off the market so they can afford to take their time and so can we. If it is not them then we find someone when we list in Spring.
Been so busy today with calls and actual work. I also had to complete the MS and apply for some more for next year. Hopefully I will get paid the full amount and I can then pay it off the 0% credit card. Money is still a bit tight but the regular saver is maturing soon so that will help. I need to find somewhere to stash that money as that is allocated to annual bills mainly plus Christmas. I did make sure of the Lidl freebies lovely large box of blueberries and also got some hard cheese free. Over a £5 worth so that was nice. Very much back on the diet now.
We have cancelled gym tonight but going tomorrow and Thursday instead. Asda arriving today so that will be nice plus we have all the home made meals in the freezer which does help. Lots of washing to do after our trip so mashine is on. Feeling very tired and work is a bit manic for me.

Hello Wednesday happy hump day I do think it should be later in the week as this one feels long already. No news on the house so just letting that one be now trying not to look at any properties in Denmark right now. (Although I am desperate to do so).
My nephew was 21 years day he looks so grown up now he is coming to London with his girlfriend next week but not going to visit auntie which is a shame but she is a bit of a funny one never speaks English when we are there although she is very good at it. Anyway going to send him some recommendations for things to do.
Got all the MS submitted with pictures lets hope they are happy with it. I have offered to do more local ones next year so lets wait and see. It was fun being back doing it but I do not think I want to start doing it too often as it does take time and with all the planning for the move I just wont fit it in.
Spent £65 on vitamins for DG and I as I have now run out of the posh magnesium ones and I am not paying £1.30 a night for those. Also got some Vitamin D and some over 50's multi vitamin. That is for both of us and DG got some omega 3 and something else.
Going to Spin tonight although I am still on the waiting list but I should get in if not I can go in the gym. DG is the one that really needs to go anyway. Then hoping to do Shape Thursday but I have a meeting so let's see how it goes.
Still got lots of work and I am behind but hopefully catch up today that would be really good. I have paid for DG counselling session she only goes about once a month and taken the money back for the vitamins already. Once MS pays my credit cards will also thank me. My pensions and SSIP is doing really well. I might ask a question on the pension boards about dealing with the main SSIP once I move as I am a bit concerned. Anyway enough chat back to work.
