you can snap that eurocylinder also and turn the inside to open . Is the key turning in the barrel

Don’t you need to open the door to get to the gearbox?

Try lifting the door with a bar slightly, try and get a thin blade between door and frame to move the latches up or down.
Most probably hinges have needed adjustment and slowly the door has dropped
