DLA payments stopped

Hi everyone,
we are in the process of applying for PIP for my daughter, having been receiving DLA. We have returned all forms in timeframes required and are in process of completing PIP payment 3, which we need to return by 12th Jan. The DWP didn’t pay us for DLA for December with no warning. We have tried to contact them by phone but you just can’t get through. Anyone know the most effective way to contact them and get a response ?
thanks anyone for reading and responding to this,

Thanks - we’ve been trying for hours on the phone and keep being disconnected - it’s absolutely appalling. I wondered if people had more success with writing or email if there’s an email address.0

I'm not aware of an email address and if you write to them it could take a few weeks to arrive and they don't always reply or action anything. All i can suggest is you need to keep ringing.

No idea if the same is true for other lines, but I have always found that it's worth ringing HMRC just before the advertised time of opening ... certainly earlier rather than later in the day!Signature removed for peace of mind0
