Hiya, I am new - better late than never I guess?
My partner does cash saving as a motivator to keep him off alcohol and I have decided to try and do the same for my "taking lunch instead of buying it at the shops" money. So numbers will be a bit random, probably about £5 a weekday, maybe more, but I'm trying to get into a better habit and have something to show for it at the end!2 -
Welcome along! Cash saving is very motivating so I’m sure you’ll do well.SkyChild said:Hiya, I am new - better late than never I guess?

7 is one of my lucky numbers wayhay!
Ummm not sure what you mean by selected an envelope? Are there specific ones?2 -
If you check the first page, we use physical cash in 52 envelopes. You can do it anyway you like, I have 52 numbered envelopes (one for each week) and then I pop the £ equivalent in a random one each week.SkyChild said:7 is one of my lucky numbers wayhay!

Ahh ok. I'll need to do the maths and figure out which week I'm on, seeing as I only started last week! I put £45 in but it won't be that much every week!
Anyone doing it in chronological order know what number this week is?1 -
This is week 13 lovely. Use your £45 to fill some of the fist 13 if you like, or just start from today and miss the first 12 weeks. Either is fine, we aren’t pushy!
