IVA nearing the end...

Hi all it's been a long time since I've written. My IVA has bounced around a little from Aperture to Jarvis who then became Debt Movement. My final payment is due in March and I'm just wondering what others in this situation have experienced in terms of the final report. Was it vastly different to the one I get each year or the same? Can't wait to get this monkey off my back.

Looking forward to adding a savings goal to my footer :)

I received my documents about six weeks after the final payment, but it can take several months. I received a very basic certificate of completion - "I hereby confirm that so-and-so has completed the IVA as of this date" - and a final statement that showed all the fees paid and how much each creditor had received.

It won`t be a final report, you will likely just get a generic sheet of A4 paper, much as described above, and that will be that.

Not sure anyone will see this but it finally happened...8 months after my original post my certificate came through. Very strange feeling, not sure what I was expecting but there is relief. Now to set my saving goal

    Pleased for you.

Now work towards your saving goal, but do revise your budget to allow for cost of living increases. After all, that what your IVA provider would do.
