EDF billing error - anyone else?

I’ve just checked my bill for 23 June - 22 December.
It shows we started the billing period £146 in credit, paid £1829 via DD and used £1093.01 in energy.
We should be £945 in credit but the bill shows a credit balance of £746.
EDF refund the EPG payments monthly to our bank account so the payments and refunds cancel each other out. However the bill shows the EPG refund amount but without including it as a credit amount first - hence the £199 discrepancy.
Of course I’ll be calling EDF after the bank holiday but thought I should mention this in case it has happened to others and gone unnoticed.

Check page 2 of the bill. The £199 is deducted from your usage.
So your usage will be £1093.01 plus the £199.
In the second last line with the VAT calculation you will see that the VAT is calculated on the higher amount and not the subtotal for gas and electricity. This is because the £199 is deducted from the real sub total first.2 -
Ah, thanks for that Pochase. I’ll check when I can (site not allowing me to download the bill now). Sounds like they could have made that billing clearer but good to know.0
