In Car Stereo - CD/Radio/USB/MP3/WAV - £39.99

Just thought I would give you the heads up with this special offer coming to ALDI stores this Thursday.

I classify this as a grabbit as I had to fight to grab one when I bought one last time round about 6 months ago. Offers like this for ALDI are usually sold out within hours, so get there early.

It is TEVION make and as all ALDI electricals comes with 3 years gaurantee.
I love the stereo, it is great because you can just plug a usb memory stick MMC or SD card into the stereo and it will play mp3's directly. Which is great, I hardly use the CD Player!!

If you bought it with the 2gb SD Card they are doing on the same day for a tenner, you could have a 2gb mp3/CD/Radio Car Stereo for sub 50 squid which is a bargain.

Hope this helps someone!

    Thanks in advanve
  • Tevion is the captive brand for Aldi. Mostly OK and good warranty. Can only pay by debit card or Cash I think. Aldi is a strange place, worth a visit anyway. Go on way into work on Thursday to get the deals. Some deals never happen, but fairly rare for that to happen.

    Best of luck

  • I bought one of these in the summer and it's great for the price. Just plug in a USB stick or SD card and you're away.

It even has an aux input on the front which is handy. And a remote, which is great for back seat passengers to annoy the hell out of you with :)

Many thanks, managed to pick one up, for my son this morning, looks good. The aux in socket is brill, I paid £20 for a wireless sender unit so he could play his MP3 player through his car stereo but for £20 more he can now do that, through the supplied cable and use his sd card as well. Off to Argos now to return the unwanted sender .

    Thanks again, Merry Christmas
  • I'd be interested to know if people have tried it out and how well it works.

Sometimes the electronics stuff in Aldi can be a bit naff (I'm thinking about those PVRs they sold 2 years ago which kept crashing)

As stated I have one of these saver2000 and it's cracking!! Pumps out plenty of volume and has all req'd features. I'm happy as larry with mine, I've found most electronics I have bought from Aldi have been good and if it wasn't they would always take it back, i've heard they dont ask many questions

I've got one of the earlier versions that Aldi sold about 18 months ago, and it's been no problem. Having said that I don't use the CD player much at all, the whole point of these things is the convenience offered by the SD card slot.
