Beautiful border..love the cottage garden look!

The border and pots look beautiful and very well cared for. I can’t help but admire your very smart fence too!
Unfortunately, I am familiar with eau de rotting rodent; there is no smell more sickly and noxious! I thought it would announce itself in time but I am relieved that it was somewhere easily accessible for you.

Lovely pics of your borders and pots. Glad dentist went well and corpse gate is concluded satisfactorily!

Such a lovely garden @foxgloves!
Our neighbour's cat has been hanging out on our summer house roof making lots of angry noises which usually means he will be soon depositing fresh rodent by the back door or in the garden for us to discover! The best bit is that he then expect praise and petting for a job well done.4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! As far as I can think the only time I've ever experienced the smell of dead mouse I was somewhere about 8/9 years old. I can still clearly remember it!

I love your border and the pots. I keep my borders like that too, I think they look so much more natural and the bees/butterflies love them. Oh look at that naughty boy giving us the side eye 😆

Thanks for your lovely comments, everyone. Yes, garden looks really cottage-style atm, esp as we are doing No-Mow May & the grass is full of daisies.
The weather has defo warmed up today & I've already got 2 annoying insect bites to prove it. Really productive today. 6 of the 'Oh happy day' tomatoes planted out in their final spaces & remaining ones side-shooted & sorted. We have kept 9 'Oh happy day', 6 'Roma', 2 Black Russian & 2 'Red cherry'. I've put the rest in a crate on our front courtyard along with a spare Guatemalan blue squash plant. I only very rarely manage to shift plants this way, but will see if there are any takers. All the tomatoes are flowering.
I've staked 12 tomato plants & strung the canes together for the tension which keeps them upright. Also staked aubergines & cayenne peppers. The jalapenos are 'Sizzler' variety, much more bushy so won't need support. Courgettes & squash have started hardening-off today. I've also done my usual with the basil & planted plenty of it around the greenhouse tomatoes. And finally, all the veg has had a good watering.
I'm going to pick this year's 1st bunch of sweetpeas in a minute - got to love free room fragrance!
Mr F has requested a list of garden jobs for the BH weekend 😀.
Only other task is to get the slow cooker on for tonight's nosebag. It's a much shorter cooking time but lots of chopping to do.
Then I intend to be back outside with my book.
Take care, m'dears,
F x

Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!4 -
Garden and culprit both gorgeous.
Phew to locating the deceased mouse (r.i.p.) before the heatwave!
Glad dentist was okay and a tad cheaper, and that Mr F has requested garden jobs- make sure to remind him to wear sunscreen..
