I've never been a fan of mincemeat for some reason, so I'm never tempted to stock up. Stollen now I could eat by the dozen, or even just marzipan on it own! I never see marzipan reduced though, sadly.Live the good life where you have been planted.

Lol, @Elisheba. If marzipan was reduced, I'd probably be spherical!

I made stollen dough several years ago. There was loads of it! It made 2 big stollen loaves & as far as I can remember, we only ate one. Wonder what happened to the other one. I have no idea - must have given it away.
Perhaps I'll make another one next year, I'll see.

I've just realised I have never had stollen. This shopping list just keeps getting longer.

I am another fan of marzipan, stollen, and those mini ones from littles are delicious! I always make sure there are “trimmings” from marzipanning the cake too!
The jars and box look very festive and I am sure are delicious. What lovely writing you have!
Generally, I make mincemeat that lasts well for two years. This year is a poor one for my health and energy so I have decided that I won’t be making mince pies at all. Mr MV is happy with bought ones although he prefers homemade - maybe he just says that 😂 We are experimenting with the different supermarket offerings.6
