    - When bought house £315,995 mortgage debt and end date at start = October 2039 - now £227,385
    - OPs to mortgage = £12,881 Estd. interest saved = £6,203 to date
    c. 16 months reduction in term
    Fixed rate 3.85% ends October 2030

    I hope no new problems today Foxgloves and the new one is easily resolved. Piano playing and reading sounds like a good plan - it's impossible to get much done with workmen in, I find. Bet the stress isn't helped by not having furries to stroke - but a wise decision to move them out for the duration if they're happy enough going to the cattery. (My two found the cattery so stressful that it's not an option, but it's very hard when we have workmen in, as for the heatpump recently.)

    Hope today turns out to be stress free. If I was you I would make a pot of coffee, grab a slice of cake, put on some relaxing music and log into P/fc. X

    She did, but the one I was thinking of was " I can't think about that right now. If I do, I'll go crazy. I'll think about that tomorrow."  :)

    OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I finished the year at £2880.99/£3000 or 96.03% of my annual spend so I am sticking with a £3000 annual budget for 2026
