I'm another one that loves autumn. Dealing with the cat and three meals a day going back an hour not so much. But I'm looking forward to Samhain tomorrow.  I love pagan festivals because one is not more important than the others - looking at you Yule/Christmas-but I sort of feel if there is one it's Samhain

I lean towards the pagan festivals too, @thriftmonster. Christmas/Yule is very much a hybrid celebration in our house.

So i have had a variety of trick or treaters. Very small ones with their parents -sweet and grateful. 15-16 yrs honestly- dressed up and sweet
A load of Y6-7. Half of them rude and entitled, half sweet and said thank you
