Now you have me lusting after a lime green sea serpent @foxgloves!  As an example of spendiness, it can't be beaten.  Love Humdinger xx

So sad about the demise of the little dunnock. I've got a corner of the garden reserved for the little creatures that need burying. The latest was a little shrew, so tiny & so perfect. I blame the 3 cats belonging to a neighbour, although a beautiful sparrow hawk died by flying into a window.

Sad about the dunnock ☹️ We had a bat fly straight into our patio doors. It was stunned but thankfully ok after a rest.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • That's sad about the dunnock but good that it passed in loving hands.
What a nice nearish neighbour to bring your parcel round.
And what good advice from your sister to launder material first, so obvious once someone else says it!

An escaped hamster - just this made me chuckle, let alone the ceiling hanging
