Yes, that's exactly what we're going to do, @Makingabobor2. We have plenty of assorted proteins in the freezer & the pantry's not looking bad either, although being a planner, I do like to have good stocks of stuff in there. Once Mr F (who usually cooks Fri to Sun) decides what he's making at the weekend, I'll be able to assess 'leftovers likelihood' & thus plan the rest of the week.

Morning Campers!
What a wet. blowy day! Cats not impressed at all. I shan't get much done today as we are off to the city centre later & staying for an evening concert, but it was paid for ages ago & we are not going out for a meal beforehand as we decided it would be a more affordable & chilled-out option to have lunch out instead, then buy some sarnies & crisps to eat before we go in. And Mr F will almost certainly need an 'in-the-car-for-the-drive-home-afterwards-sandwich' ..... but still all better value than going to a restaurant & we'd rather leave our Leisure Pot intact ready to fund another concert. So not a lot on the money-saving list today - the parking will be horrendous, but we don't go in very often, not like when I lived on the city outskirts & would happily go in twice a week to spend the bank's money!
*Have done a couple of surveys, including today's effort for the longer study I am currently on. I know I have a small amount of cashed out PA money still sitting in P*pal so with what I earn in June, it will be a much better chunk than of late to add to my Personal Spends.
*Peruse vacuum flasks. We need a new one & I want one with 2 cups. Occurred to me that this is a very useful thing to look for this afternoon while we are in the city centre. Online shopping is all very well, but there's nothing like seeing & handling the actual item for assessing its longevity. I do have some vouchers I could use, but have decided they work better for us if they stay in my voucher stash ready to offset the cost of a bigger item when something carks it.
*Sorted out a June birthday card. Stamp from stash.
*Check how the hardening-off tomatoes & squashes fared overnight as it's clearly been very wet & windy. I don't want to lose any food plants at this stage.
*Do next week's meal plans after vaguely discussing them last night.
*Added some more magazines to a big pile for my friend - not moneysaving, but any decluttering is a win as far as I'm concerned.
*Also intend to feed houseplants this morning.
*Any spare time between then & when we need to set off will probably be spent putting a few more rows in my pink socks.
Have a good day everyone,
