Our hospital car park is awful. Too small, tight turns, narrow spaces and hard to get out of spaces. Other than that its fine.Hope things are more positive than you fear.7

Thanks for your kind wishes, everyone. Feeling a bit more stoical this morning, still very worried, but am intending to maintain as much normality as possible while I'm being investigated. Hoping to progress a few garden jobs today all be it at a gentle pace, as well as a few other things.
Am.not expecting to spend any money. Can't believe it is Big Budget Day next week - only seems like 5 minutes since the last one! I did think the extra BH would make May feel like it was whizzing by.
F x2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!7 -
Sending positive vibes.
brief update on the pensions thing we were talking about months ago. The cheque I sent off for missing contributions has been allocated to the appropriate years and my online forecast reflects this, took about two months in total just in case anyone else is still thinking about it.8 -
Keeping busy and being stoical are a good combination.
your complicated knitting will give you something to focus on.6 -
Boo to more tests and to hospital car parks generally - our local MP has been on a campaign for a few years now about getting the charging stopped but so far he's not achieved it. We also happen to know where there is convenient-ish street parking near ours though so we invariably default to that when needed - and when I was going to visit Dad I mostly cycled.
