@RobM99 very sorry to hear that, it's a poor way of firing someone as everyone else has said, but you're obviously a good bassist and it doesn't sound as though you will have any problem finding other work xx

Morning all, still dark and a 22 for me please. I know the band stuff isn't relevant here but anyway (feel free to scroll by!). As ever, a story here - another band has just asked their bassist to leave and oddly, he has recommended me to them and an audition date is set. . Guess who he's asked to audition for...Yep - Horizon5. You couldn't make it up!

Thanks for the update @RobM99. Who'd have thought there were such dealings going on in the band world. At least you can dine out on the story that you and Mr Staunton both got sacked as a result of Horizon! Maybe Miss Badenough didn’t think his image was suitable either! 🤣
