24/30 for me today please.

I had to have a venesection today (a bit like giving blood but the blood can't be used due to chemo). The nurse said my BP was a bit high - but agreed when I said it was probably as a result of stressing over finding a parking space at the hospital.

I am 24/ 25 as of yesterday but I'm not sure about today yet. Tonight was originally going to be a planned drinking day as there is a Burns evening at our local club and I had intended to toast Rabbie with a couple of malt whiskies. Now I have the virus that isn't COVID but feels pretty grim and I'm not going ☹️. My husband is one of the committee members so will be going and I'll be home alone. I am unlikely to drink by myself ( I try not to do that these days) but I must admit a hot toddy is looking tempting.
I'll report tomorrow. X
