Good evening everyone,
I have taken myself off to bed as I'm in a bit if discomfort after my procedure. I struck lucky on the Adult day surgery ward as I had a bed! Honestly I couldn't believe what I was witnessing there were 4 ladies (one of whom was still recovering from chemo) who were there for surgery, and had to sit and wait for hours on plastic chairs. 🤔 I felt angry in their behalf. The space was there where the bed should have been, but they just weren't there....bonkers.
Thanks for all your good wishes, much appreciated.
13 please Cathy

Glad it went well Arkers and hope you will be fully recovered soon. It's certainly an eye opener going inside a hospital! I was in with an elderly relative and couldn't believe the number of people in the A&E corridor, being treated or having conversations with the doctor in full view of everyone. It's heartbreaking to see the lack of dignity afforded to some very vulnerable people.
On a more positive note 10/20 today please @cathybird4 -
Arkers, glad to hear your procedure went well, sorry to hear that the health system is in such a shambles though.
Not an AFD for me today, I had a lunch out with friends.3 -
6/10 please for yesterday, Saturday. Almost an emoji which will be the first for a long time.
