Just draw a line and start again, you have plenty of time to get your 15 days in April. We're all works in progress 🙂 xnumber_23 said:Please revert my progress back to zero. Good luck with the gig Rob. xMorning all, once again up at "sparrow fart"! 9/29 please. Gig today at 4 pm - on a Sunday! Should be fun...
My husband is producing one of his 'special' bottles of wine to accompany our Easter dinner. I don't think I'm going to have any but I'd better wait until later to declare.
Happy Easter everyone. X

Thanks all, I have drawn a line.We had a fantastic day today as a family; a very long bike ride and a roast beef in the slow cooker for dinner. I feel like I’ve turned a corner today as I’ve had a little time for my own thoughts too - I realise that I am putting myself under a lot of pressure to make a lot of changes all at once so I have set a prioritisation list. Whilst it is important that I reduce my drink intake as it has an impact on so many areas of my life, planning to reduce dramatically on a bank holiday weekend was setting myself up to fail. I am aiming for 15, and as so many of you have advised, I’ve time to hit that yet. Slow and steady wins the race.I don’t envisage having a drink but will confirm tomorrow.I hope everyone is having a lovely day, and a lovely Easter to those celebrating x6

8/25 please cathybird. Bring on that rabbit with the giant egg. I have had two real choc eggs this week, full of regret, but this virtual egg is very welcome.
At this point last month I was depressed, was only at 2/25,so I'm happy to be doing well this month.4 -
Morning all, the gig went OK considering our second guitarist was at home nursing his leg (plates inserted after an accident!), I'm not mad keen on a Sunday afternoon gig as people are, in general, out for a roast and a chat! It's also a sports pub. We were due to start ( and did) at 4pm, our new singer vanished soon after arriving - she looked dreadful, turns out she had a reaction to something she'd eaten. I was hoping it wasn't the fudge my daughter made that we had at Saturday's rehearsal! Anyway she still helped set up the drums and went to her parent's for a few minutes (they live close to the venue). Came back at 15:56 carrying a sick bucket. Performed a great set and still helped us pack down after, What a trooper!
Back on topic, 10/29 today please.
Oh and further - got home about 8pm, had a "quick snooze", woke up at 04:00. Hence today's early post. Rock'n'roll, eh?Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!4
