Can I reduce the time that my Heatstore Dynamic HHR storage heaters heat up overnight.

Hi all and Happy New Year,
I have 2 of the above storage heaters that start heating up at 12.30am and continue until approx 6.30am. My tariff is Octopus Go which gives me very cheap electric from 12.30am - 4.30am 7.4p per kwh. If I were to change to economy 7 the nighttime tariff would increase to 24p per kwh.
My question is can the storage heaters be programmed to heat up faster over a 4 hour period? When they were installed the electrician was aware of my tariff but I got the feeling he just wanted to be in and out as quickly as possible!
Any advice would be gratefully recieved
Thank you

I doubt they can heat up any faster as they will have a heating element that works at mains voltage. Do you have a smart meter that you can monitor consumption on? They might well have got to full temperature by 4:30 anyway and after that it is just topping up a bit. If you can monitor electricity use over time this should be fairly obvious as not much else will be on overnight.0

Thank you Nobbie.
Yes I check the consumption daily. It uses aprox 9kwh in the first 1 1/2 hours then increases to 16 kw for the next 2 hours but the hot water is also heating up then. I reckon it's using approx 6kwh per hour until 6.30am.0
