Good luck with this! That is not a lot of money to feed a large family for a year.No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Well two days into the year and no money spent, only another 363 to go.
DD and her family have gone away for a few days so only two of us here. Lunch, I had left over soup from yesterday, OH has salad, pork pie and cheese. Cleared a few bits out of the fridge. For tea we both had left overs from yesterday. Pork, roast potatoes and veg.
I think we'll be using up a few more bits before they come back on Friday.
Well need milk tomorrow. OH has the car booked in for new tyres, so I'll probably call into Iceland. 10% of for old people on Tuesdays.
Hugs, mumtoomany.xxxFrugal Living Challenge 2025.
Grocery challenge, £1300 food plus £200 cleaning materials etc, for the year.9 -

Ha ha, sorry if I offended you @Rosa_Damascena. I'm only 62, and am defiantly not old. Not do I plan to ever become old. Still going enough to wrestle a sheep to the ground and able to play on the floor with a four year old.

@mumtoomany I really enjoyed your last thread and looking forward to following this thread. I hate food waste and try my best to use things up. Will be back to the community Pantry once I return from holiday.
We are self catering and went to the local lidl. They have an identical layout to the ones in the UK and will do my best to use everything up before heading home.8 -
Sheep wrestling has been the theme of my day, and I still didn’t manage to get her down! Blinking foot rot to spray and she refused to be caught! X6

Yet another silent reader. Money really tight at the moment and the only thing I can change is to make more of my food!, I have quite a bit of LO from Xmas as had DD and family staying over ( they flew back home this morning at some ungodly hour) so I know what needs eating over the next few days! So will again be reading for inspiration and ideas🙂

Another sympathetic admirer here who enjoyed your previous thread and gained a lot of inspiration from it too. I'm looking forward to reading this thread and seeing how you manage.4
