Eurostar booking issues: any suggestions?

I want to book some Eurostar tickets in March. I've tried different browsers, different credit cards, at different times.
And it just doesn't work. You get told they know some people are having problems booking, a reference to use, and a contact us option.
I've used the contact option, and that leads to the message that if you're having problems paying for a booking you need to talk to your bank. And it seemed possible that this looked odd among the regular shopping and petrol so theyd blocked it. So I phoned the credit card company and they said no transaction had been declined.
So I've tried to escalate the report, saying I know it's not the bank, and I get nothing back.
Since I started trying to do this, one fare has increased by £10 per person, so I'm keen to sort this before anything else goes up!
Anyone got any suggestions? I don't think phoning Eurostar is an option before Monday.

Can they be booked through travel agents? It might be an option if all else fails.

Might be able to. Will think on ...
If I could face the 4 hour journey to St Pancras I can buy them there, apparently, but not, I think at a regular station.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
OK, I have cracked it!
Flirted briefly with the Trainline but then had a final idea and went back to Eurostar.
Until now, I've been trying to put my Club Eurostar number in, and it hasn't liked it. However, I think I was only 'hiding' the number, so this time I physically deleted it. It didn't like one credit card at all, so I then used another and hooray, we're booked!
Now to see if I can get my Club points awarded retrospectively ... edited to say that looks straighforward too! Fingers crossed ...

Well done, you seem to have sorted it out. In the past when I had a problem I had a rapid response via twitter. They have several accounts, some of which are less used than others, so it's best to post of all of them.

- wait at least 24 hours after booking before you can add points
- make sure your booking is not older than 90 days
But looking at the not-very-helpful help, I THINK they mean that I can't add points until 24 hours after I have actually travelled, but I have to do so less than 90 days after I've travelled.
Which seems to imply that there's no point at all being logged into Club Eurostar before attempting a booking, it will just screw things up. Ho hum.
Still, mustn't grumble. Been hoping to make this trip for nearly two years, after cancelling a trip which should have started the day before the first lockdown started! Thought about it again this time last year, then looked at their infection rates, which made ours look quite reasonable! Fingers and toes firmly crossed this time ... DS has got engaged, bought a flat and got married in that time! (We have seen the happy couple a few times - but not the flat!!! nor the boat they part-own ...)Signature removed for peace of mind0
