Virgin Money ISA

Can't see where I'm going wrong. Tried to open a new 2yr fixed ISA with Virgin Money and all goes well until I get to the password criteria. It states, 8 to 32 characters which must contain 3 off each, Upper Case, Lower Case, Number and Symbols. Now I tried these , NO I wont use them again anywhere but kept getting somethings gone wrong with the new password block highlighted. Yes they did match in both lines. Here is what I tried:- T4#bRm2*6Pg$8Kh%6FnB and T4$bF2£dN8%Ga5&P6rY7*HR
Now I cant see anything wrong with those but Virgin wont accept them so I shall look for another provider who I can deal with online.

I've had similar issues recently with some other websites. Typing it into both fields manually seemed to resolve it for me - it was generated by a password generator into both fields before. If you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.

Enter your password. This will be at least 8 characters chosen from 3 or more of these categories: numbers, upper case letters, lower case letters and special characters (such as *!@?).

I had problems with this as well, and ended up using a much less secure password than I intended. It was the only way I got it accepted.

Some special characters won't work with some websites. Its trial and error. Try just one special characterI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?1

I opened one of these today without any problems, I used.......1 upper case, 2 numbers, a symbol and the rest lower case.
I think the OP has misinterpreted the requirements.0 -
Thanks for all the reply's, I should think any combination of characters, symbols and numbers should work but alas no.

This is from the Virgin Money Mobile App help pagesSeems to contradict the allowed special character example quoted above (at least for "!").
Passwords should not include the following symbols ‘# / & ! +’ however should contain at least one capital letter, lower case letter and number.
