Has anyone got/seen a tent that is family sized but has a bedroom off of a main bedroom? We want to get a big tent (to replace my tiny little mountain-hugging space-age extremely expensive one sob sob) now that we have a baby. The only thing is that looking at the layout of all these family tents, I wouldn't be happy with putting her to sleep in a bedroom then going to sleep in another one and someone being able to sneak in when we were asleep, her bedroom being accessible without goign through ours. I suppose one with a closeable living room flap would be ok as we could then sleep in the main "living area" ourselves.

    Any recommendations welcome!

Stay clear of this company. There customer service is appalling. I ordered a tent from them and they sent the wrong one....... That was 2 months ago! Since then they have sent another identical tent to the first one to me. Anytime you phone the customer helpline you are put on hold for ages and then no one seems able to help you. I am not complaining too much as i now have 2 tents.... one of which i will sell to someone else. Incidentally does anyone recall how long i have to wait before i am legally allowed to dispose of these items? I have notified the company via e-mail several times of the problem with no response. Technically they have sent me a product i never ordered.

    Now I am confuddled.

Was going to buy the Arizona, not going to now but about to buy the Auckland, then the Adventuridge at Aldi pops up and ......

I want the very rare and occasional 1 or 2 night fairly local break with my two kids (twins, nearly 8 years old). The Aldi one looks and sounds fine, but the Auckland has three bedrooms, but will I be able to put it up virtually unaided by the kids? The slight cost difference is almost an irrelevance, I am happy to pay up to £100.

    Advice please.

Yes, this sort of tent is not very good on the wind, they really tend to lack any sort of stability

I have previously posted a thread yesterday.

Halfords are selling a 2 man tent for £12.99 and a 4 man tent for £29.99.

I bought the 4 man tent and have put it up today, I have to say it is great and for the money you just cannot beat it.
