Housenetwork are the leading "online estate agents" - you can't use them alongside a traditional estate agent due to the conflict with sole agency.

Houseweb and TheLittleHouseCompany are the leading national private sale sites, which you can use alongside a traditional estate agent.

Houseladder and MyPropertyForSale are other private options.

There are hundreds of websites offering private property advertising but very few worth considering if you are serious about your chances of selling.
