Hi all
I’m a bit confused because there is a big difference in my credit scores when comparing the MSE Credit Club (where I’m a poor/700) and getting my free score direct from Experian (where I’m good/939).

As far as I know I used the same details, so does anyone know why this might be? And which one to trust more lol?

The ratings' figures themselves don't matter, whichever Rating Agency you look at. But the Agency detailed reports are more important.
And CRAs' detailed reports are not to be dismissed as being of no importance---they are the first port of call for anyone checking you out for a loan , mortgage etc etc transaction you make.
Your own scores, sefton ---one poor , one bad are interesting ( though, as I've said, pretty meaningless) because of the difference between "good" with one and "poor" with another which, in my experience, doesn't happen as a rule. Look at the reports that accompany such rating "marks" and they usually tell you what in their opinion you are doing right and what you are doing wrong. The simplest little change by you in your financial behaviour can send the rating number whirling like a roulette wheel ( and the accompanying reports which come with all such credit scores will tell you everything you want to know as to why you have been marked as you have).
As for your other question, there is no doubt that Experian is the most used agency by someone wishing to check you out. Happy New Year.0 -
Check the date on each report and the actual contents of each report. One may be newer/older and contain/be missing certain items.0
