Chase Bank standing orders issue

On Tuesday 27/12, I received a text from Chase saying that my standing order payment hadn't been made. Upon phoning them, I was assured that because it was a Bank Holiday the payment would be made the following day, yesterday 28/12. However, despite receiving two telephone assurances on the 28/12, that the payment would be made that day, last night, I received a text, followed by an email, saying that because of an issue I would need to make the payment manually myself, which I've done this morning - very disappointing!
