DH messaged me from work today and asked if I wanted him to go food shopping on the way home to save us a job tomorrow. So I sent him the list and he didn't do too badly to be fair! He mostly stuck to the list I messaged to him, and only got a few extras of the same item (old habits die hard!). So a total spend of £6 in sainos and then £39.25 in l!dls! We still need a squash, olive oil and eggs however I may try to manage with the coconut oil I already have in.Putting us at £115.78/ £250 for January.

Tescos delivery arrived today with a split bag of sugar and without toilet rolls!!! I am about to find out how long tesco toilet rolls really last!We are down to one double one in both loos. 😱. I got some lovely asian produce--korean pears, chive flowers, karambola, baby bok choi. Meals will def have an Asian flair here this week. I got 3 pears--I will use 1 and grate the other 2 and freeze them for future kalbi. I'll be doing a little shifting around in the menu plan but it's ok. I want to use my chive flowers this weekend so they don't go bad.
I still have a small Kroger order coming in the morning. We're all set for next week.

Two pain au chocolat - Tuesday and today - £1.50. Drinks out - £7.54. And another £17.00 on groceries - the biggest spends on salmon steaks and coffee. I was trying to do pan-fried salmon but had to finish off in the microwave as it didn't cook through. £158.93 left.Fashion on the Ration 2025 - 1.5 coupons remaining

Declutter 7 things (net) in 2025. Done, now trying to keep it even (1 under at present).12 -
Our first main shop yesterday started in Aldi £43.40, then to Morrisons where we spent £14.59 but saved £4.47 on Quorn products for DH (on offer at 3 for £3). Finally to Tesco, £35.04 inc £3.16 on stuff for the food bank. Total £93.03, will last us at least two weeks.
We've already spent £101.52 which leaves £78.48 for the rest of the month.11 -
Quick nip out to the coop on Friday for milk, bread, apples, and, er, some less healthy snacks; £4. The membership discount offers each week are actually pretty decent so if I could be more sensible and stop buying snacks it would’ve been a very economical shop.

sainsbury:- some half price gammon still on offer - now frozen. stuck rigidly with my list apart from a packet of doughnuts and a pork pie. I was late getting back for lunch so needed something quick just to put on the table - well that's my excuse £41.54/200 spent12
