Hi Everyone
It's a mix of rain, sleet and snow here and mighty cold! I've had all the windows open for half an hour for a bit of fresh air. 5 adults here and two children so the upstairs windows were dripping with condensation. All cleared now and the fire is warming the house up again.
DD was too poorly to come here yesterday but the little one and her Daddy came for their dinner, lovely to see the DGC all playing together although older DGD was a bit of a pain as usual - can't be bothered with her behaviour so don't take much to do with her really. DS2 made up a quiz and some challenges that were really funny and involved hooters and kazoos!
Hope you feel better today TA.
Lovely to hear you're on the mend Ruby, remember the waggy fingers will be out if you do too much!
DS2 has invited a friend for lunch so had better get that under way, we have friends coming for a curry tonight. DS2 and his DP will be going to Edinburgh tomorrow for the night so I'll be able to get tidied up and have a restful day.
Take care all, XX

Hello everyone
Been down for bread and a few bits this morning and called at mam and dads for a cuppa. dad is full of cold and coughing a lot and being very cantankerous! If he's no better tomorrow mam will try to get a doctor to come and check him over.
Sorry to hear you've been poorly TA and had to miss some of the fun.
Nice to see you posting Redruby - take care x
Gers - yes little one was delighted with her pirate ship and pirates - we'll have a lovely long play with it when she's home from her daddys house. I also got her a pop up pirate game which she loved - we played with it on Christmas afternoon.
Tomorrow eldest DD and I are going to Edinburgh for the day - for my Christmas present she bought a wizard afternoon tea at a place called The Cauldron- where you use wands to magically blend your own tea! Have a google it looks fun! I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, so not as strange a present as it might sound!
This afternoon is going to be a quiet one - I have a pile of Sunday Times magazines to catch up with , then DD is going to make Thai green curry for tea.
Last night we watched 'Love Actually' - we've seen it so many times we can recite the words!
Hope everyone has a good day today x
