LloydsTSB - charging GBP2.50 for "near limit" SMS alerts

If you rely on your "limit" alerts with Lloydstsb they will START charging from 2nd Jan 08 for these. The charge will be GBP2.50
If you receive the basic text alert detailing your balance, this apparently, won't be charged.
Worth noting if you regurlarly come close to your O_draft limit

An annual charge of £30 which, if it prevents you just once from an unplanned overdraft, will pay for itself.
Note that you get 2 texts - one if you are within £50 of your limit and another on the day of the excess to give you the opportunity to clear.0 -
