Hi
I have Amazon Music included within my Amazon Prime and I have a number of playlisted saved. I do not pay for unlimited music. Recently I see that shuffle is set permanently which I would like to remove. I want the songs to play as per the order in the playlist not randomly by shuffle, I have looked in setting but there does not appear to be an option to do this.
Can anyone offer any advise?
Thanks

Pretty sure when Amazon recently increased the number of available tracks for standard Amazon Music, the downside was that shuffle is permanently enabled.

I believe this is a new feature that you can't do anything about.2

Thanks for this. I was wondering about this too and where my playlists went. It did have a notification about changes but not what they actually were.0

Yes the app has now gone from full functionality, limited songs, to limited functionality, full songs.
I did a free 14 day trial of Spotify for downloading the app which then reverted to standard (free) with ads, and like Amazon shuffle mode forced/ recommended songs played amongst the stuff you actually want to listen to.
I personally loved the functionality of Spotify and much superior audio quality, I've now signed up for a 3 months free offer, my plan is to cancel before I'm charged and wait for another free or discounted offer, which is what I do successfully with Kindle Unlimited.

1) Close Amazon Music App if it is open.
2) Click the Start menu button.
3) Type in the following without the quote marks: "%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Amazon Music"
4) Delete the folder called "Data."
5) Launch Amazon Music App.
You will need to sign in again.

Unfortunately the above will not work as the feature OP complains about is how the Amazon Music app is now designed to operate. The playback on fixed mandatory shuffle is here to stay.2

Since the update, shuffle mode is the default mode and cannot be turned off as it used to be.

it's designed to get people to subscribe to Amazon Music Unlimited at £9.95pm (or thereabouts), where you can play the tracks in the order you want. Terrible decision by Amazon IMO. If I'm having to pay extra may as well go with Spotify as I prefer their app and user experience.1
