THIS MORNING AND LOOSE WOMEN PRIZE DRAW: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY (“Prize Draw”)

Who can enter:

Prize Draw open to UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man residents aged 18 years or over only, excluding employees of the Promoter and STV Group PLC, their immediate families, and anyone else professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

Opening/closing date & time:

· Prize Draw in relation to the This Morning and Loose Women programmes (the “Programme”) opens for entries via PRTS, SMS, the This Morning App, post, and online via the www.itv.com/win or www.stv.tv/win websites (“Website”) on Friday 23 December 2022.

· Prize Draw closes for entries via PRTS, SMS, the App and online at 3.00pm on Friday 6 January 2023.

· Prize Draw closes for entries via post at 4.00pm on Thursday 12 January 2023.

Winner selection & contact:

· The draw will take place within one (1) week of the closing date and time for all entries.

· Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the prize.

Prize:

There is one (1) prize of £36,000 and one (1) holiday to Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida

(i) £36,000 cash

This element of the prize consists of £36,000 (thirty-six thousand pounds) made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only.

(ii) A holiday to Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida

This element of the prize consists of a seven-night (7) holiday for the winner and up to four (4) companions to Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida (“Holiday”), which includes the following:

· Return Economy Classic Flights with Virgin Atlantic (“Airline”) for the winner and up to four (4) companion(s) from a major commercial airport near the winner’s home (either Edinburgh, Manchester or London Heathrow as determined by Universal Orlando or Virgin Atlantic in their sole discretion) to Orlando, FL (“Flights”). The Flights are subject to the Airline’s terms and conditions available here;

· seven (7) nights standard hotel accommodation (one (1) two-bedroom suite with occupancy for up to five (5) people) at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort or at another Universal Orlando Resort hotel (as determined by Universal Orlando in their sole discretion) (“Hotel”);

· non-exclusive ground transportation to and from airport and Hotel in Orlando, FL; and

Universal Orlando 3-Park Explorer tickets for admission to Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme parks and Universal’s Volcano Bay water theme park, for the winner and up to four (4) companion(s).

Please note that the winner will need a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds in order to check in at the Hotel for security deposit purposes.

The Holiday must be taken by 6 January 2024 or the Holiday will be forfeited by the winner. The winner must provide Universal Orlando with at least sixty (60) days’ prior notice before the intended departure date and specify a minimum of three (3) preferred sets of dates. Please note that travel dates and arrangements are subject to Universal Orlando’s and the Airline’s approval, blackout dates (as notified by Universal Orlando to the winner at the time of booking the Holiday), availability and travel restrictions.

If the winner elects to partake in any or all portions of the Holiday with fewer than four (4) companions or no companion, the Holiday will be awarded to the winner and each participating companion. Any remainder of the Holiday will be forfeited and shall not be subject to further or alternative compensation.

Where the winner is between the age of 18 and 21 years old, the winner must be accompanied by an adult who is at least 21 years old in order to check into the Hotel. Where any of the winner’s companions are aged under 18 years old, the companion must be the child or legal ward of the winner or one (1) of the winner’s companions who is over the age of 18.

The winner and their companion(s) must hold a current and valid passport and any other relevant travel documentation required for travel to and entry to the United States of America (USA), including but not limited to: (i) Covid-19 related documentation; and (ii) making a timely application for receipt of ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) authorisation under the Visa Waiver Program. Please note that the winner and their companions must allow seventy-two (72) hours between the ESTA application and travel. ESTA application can be done online at the official website: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov. Travellers to the USA under the Visa Waiver Program must hold a passport with an integrated chip. Passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six (6) months on the date of departure from the UK when taking up the trip.

It is the responsibility of the winner to:

· ensure that they and/or their companion(s) adhere to the visa entry requirements to the USA;

· organise and pay costs associated with obtaining visas for the travelling party;

· ensure that the travelling party is adequately insured including without limitation covering overseas medical costs;

· ensure that the travelling party adheres to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by Universal Orlando; and

· adhere to the local laws in the USA including but not limited to the legal age limit for buying, drinking and possessing alcoholic beverages which is 21 years or over.

The prize also includes a £500 (five hundred pounds) allowance made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only (“allowance”).

The Holiday excludes ground transport between the winner’s (and/or their companions’) home address and the airport, all other transportation (other than as specified above). The Holiday consists only of the elements expressly set forth above; no other elements or expenses (including, without limitation, meals and drinks, excursions, attractions (other than those specified above), treatments, laundry service, hotel room service, car hire, gasoline, air travel taxes and/or expenses, inspection charges, additional baggage fees, security charges, travel insurance, personal expenses, incidentals, visas, vaccinations, hotel room service, laundry service, merchandise, souvenirs, tips, gratuities, service charges, car parking charges, taxes and local and long distance telephone calls) are included in the Holiday and all such expenses are the sole responsibility of the winner.

The Holiday may not be sold, traded, transferred or rescheduled. All elements of the Holiday are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any form of promotional discount. The tickets may not be reissued or changed once travel has commenced. Open tickets will not be issued and stopovers are not permitted. Travel arrangements will be made through Universal Orlando, and all elements of the Holiday must be redeemed within the Holiday. The winner and their companions must travel at the same time and on the same itinerary.

In connection with any visit to Universal Orlando Resort, please be advised that Universal Orlando’s policies, CDC guidelines, and the recommendations of health officials must be followed. In addition, guests should be aware of and comply with government guidelines regarding travel restrictions and mandatory quarantines before visiting any Universal destination (which can be found here). Please note that any public location where people are present provides an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19, and Universal Orlando cannot guarantee that any person will not be exposed during a visit.

All parts of the Holiday are subject to availability and blackout dates (as notified by Universal Orlando and the Airline to the winner at the time of booking the Holiday), and subject to change without written notice or warning. Should an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities, epidemics, pandemics and the spread of infectious diseases, including without limitation COVID-19 (as defined by the World Health Organization and any of the strains, variants or mutations thereof), and any related governmental or judicial actions taken in connection with, or as a response to, any such event, or any other event beyond the reasonable control of a party, whether or not existing, known, foreseen or foreseeable at the time this promotion occurs, render the redemption or fulfilment of some or all of the Holiday delayed, hindered, adversely affected, impracticable, or impossible, Universal Orlando Resort in its sole and absolute discretion, reserves the right to evaluate and make modifications to the redemption and fulfilment processes and timelines for any Holiday or portion of a Holiday that Universal Orlando Resort is responsible for, which may include but is not limited to providing additional time for redemption and/ or fulfilment. Should the Holiday become unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and value may be offered.

The winner and their companion(s) will be required to enter into a release with Universal Orlando in order to take-up the Holiday and any disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or relating to any person’s use of or participation in any portion of the Holiday provided by Universal Orlando shall be resolved by applying the laws of Florida, without regard to conflict of laws provisions therein, and shall be solely and exclusively brought in state or federal courts within Orange County, Florida. Such claims shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and all such claims shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event to include attorneys’ fees.
