My pc is connected to broadband downstairs, and I need to know how can I surf the net on my laptop, which is a wireless wi-fi, upstairs. What equipment do I need to do that and have a wireless connection?

assuming you have an ethernet port on your pc, you would need to by a wireless modem router such as the netgear dg834m (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0006M5UQG/qid=1118778489/sr=1-2/ref=sr_1_2_2/026-1811613-7284448).
you could then connect your pc up to the router using an ethernet cable and wirelessly to your laptop.Ever stop to think and forget to start again?0 -
