DRAMA 5 – ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

•    Competition opened at 13.00 (1pm) on 05.12.2022

•    Competition closes at 10:00 (10am) on 02.03.2023 and 3 working days later for postal entries.

1.The prize comprises a two (2) night stay in Finland for two (2) adults including;

a)Return Economy flights from a London airport to Rovaniemi, Finland (please note that flights may be indirect depending on dates of travel)

b)Return private transfers from the airport to the hotel

c)One (1) night sharing a Suite in the Snow Hotel (Ice Room)

d)One (1) night sharing a Twin or Double Glass Igloo 

e)Daily Buffet Breakfast

f)Three (3) course traditional Lappish dinner on one evening in the Ice Restaurant excluding drinks

g)Three (3) course traditional Lappish dinner on one evening in the Kota Restaurant excluding drinks

h)Arctic Sauna Experience to include Snow Sauna, Finnish sauna and jacuzzi

i)Use of snowshoes, snow sled and snow sledding hill

2.Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, the winning individual must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the hotel. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes.

3.The prize must be taken between 7th January 2024 and 31st March 2024. The stay must be completed within the time-frame stated within these terms and conditions. Extensions to the validity of the prize will not be allowed unless first authorised by Channel 5.

4.Booking is subject to availability. 

5.The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of the date of their congratulations letter from Cloud Nine and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred booking date or the prize may be forfeited.

6.Neither Channel 5 nor Cloud Nine will accept responsibility for the hotel or any facilities / elements of the prize being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.

7.Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.

8.If fulfilment or any element of this promotion is delayed or affected due to the continuing Covid-19 pandemic and resulting Government restrictions, all entrants affected will be contacted by the Promoter and kept updated of any unavoidable changes to the promotional dates, revised fulfilment dates or prizes.

9. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the prize winner and his/her companion when taking the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

10. Any additional charges or expenses due to COVID-19 which could include but are not limited to  quarantine hotels, COVID passports (should they become a requirement), COVID tests etc. will be the responsibility of the prize winner. 

11. Passports, Visas and City and ECO taxes are the responsibility and at the cost of the prize winner.  Channel 5 or Cloud Nine cannot be held responsible if the prize winner or any of the travelling party fail to obtain the required travel documentation.

12. Travel insurance is not included but it is strongly advised for travel. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to organise and pay costs associated with obtaining appropriate travel insurance for themselves and their companion. 

13. The prize winner and their party (where applicable) are responsible for and must comply with any health advice / regulations / inoculations required by any destination country.  Any associated costs for this are the responsibility of the prize winner and their party (where applicable).

14. There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.

15. For the avoidance of doubt, the prize does not include travel to and from the home to the airport, gratuities, meals or other  travel expenses unless otherwise stated, or any other costs of a personal nature not stated for winner and guest.
