could anyone advise us which caravan parks to go to with haven holidays.
i have had a look on the website and it does say a bit about them, but you cant be too sure, we are looking to go lincolnshire way, we live in cheshire so any park a few hours drive is good too,i have had a look on the websites some people have reccomended for private caravan hire, instead of going through haven, so waiting to hear back from them, but if anyone knows of someone who hires caravans on good familiy sites then i would be gratefull.
thanks

Just got back from Greenacres (Porthmadog) on Saturday - brilliant site if you have kids. Drive your car onto the beach etc.
From Cheshire ourselves - 2 hour drive, so not at all bad.
Go for Gold though and make sure you get it!________________________________________

If you fancy Blackpool, the site at Marton Mere is good. Good facilities, clean. Its right next to Stanley Park and the Mere. Site is handy enough to get into the Lake District/Yorkshire Dales. Had a van there for a couple of years with no problems. If you can, try and book privately, these sites can be expensive.0

If you fancy going to butlins skegness instead ( much better facilities and entertainment)..
There are private caravans at https://www.complete-caravans.co.uk
Went through them for an adult weekend in april and the caravan ( though the cheapest model) was excellent with even a video recorder, outside decking ( though it was obviously too cold to use it in april), extra convector heaters, etc.. Passes were included.. It was well under half what it would have cost us in the cheapest butlin accomadation.
As for Haven sites - it depends if you want lively sites or quieter ones. The sites in Lincolnshire are not in particularly good resorts ( there isn't much at Mablethorpe or Cleethorpes). Primrose valley ( south of Scarborough) is just about their best site - well situated and with lots of facilities ( boating lake, 3 clubs, etc )0 -
try searching on http://www.gocaravanrentals.com, they have a good choice of caravan for hire, also http://www.gocaravanholidays.com (could be the same people?) have special offers on haven sites.0

Whatever happens don't go to presthaven sands, it is a complete dump and has a train line running down one side of the camp ( at points about 20ft from the caravans.
However, Quay West is very lovely, as is Burnham Sands. If you wanted to go much further afield we went to Sea Shore (great yarmouth) and that was really really nice too.0 -
