Should I mention my Limited Capability for Work Decision in my PIP Application?

I suffer from severe anxiety and agoraphobia which affects my daily living activities (interacting with other people) and mobility activities (going out). I have been found to have limited capability for work (not work related activities). Is it worth mentioning this in my PIP application/uploading the limited capability for work decision along with my other evidence?

You can mention it, it can't do any harm. However, they are completely different benefits, with different criteria.

Absolutely if such evidence is consistent with what you are saying in your PIP application. They definitely could consider it (although obviously caveat that the criteria is different for the different benefits). I recently posted that they had done in my case in a reassessment... refer to the below link where I also detail that they used PIP evidence in WCA reassessment too.

Where there has been especially relevant points (facts, observations, professional opinion or conclusions) in evidence for particular activities I've tended to quote and refer to it in completion of the disability form. And when reassessments have come up and I've agreed with the conclusions of the previous assessment(s) I've also utilised them as evidence and referred to them. I think sometimes it's a bit like trying to guide a supermarket trolley in a roughly straight direction to the desired aisle.

For PIP, be aware that mobility is split into physical and mental health. Does your health effect your physical ability to walk?  The threshold for not being able to leave the house, due to mental health is set high.  How do you manage? Is it with help, do you stick to known routes eg i do a school run twice a day and that’s it, or do you stay in and to even ask past the door brings on symptoms (rhetorical questions)

Socialising and meeting others is covered as a daily activity.

    Good Luck!
