Afternoon

Ruby was in touch this morning and as expected felt rotten without any useful sleep. She's hoping to escape today so she can get back to her own bed.

Went to see Mum today and just managed to squeeze in as they closed to visitors due to a few covid cases so its back to full ppi and testing but essential visits only. Such a shame as the home had a full programme of entertainment right up to Sunday with local choirs coming in and parties planned which I guess may be cancelled now.  Glad I got some time with her before Christmas. She was having a bit of a nutty day which always makes me giggle she told me she was here on holiday and kept showing me the sun. Warrington for your summer hols anyone?! As it got close to lunch for her she announced it was time for me to go as was very busy this afternoon working  Good visit as she was happy in herself.

Plumber due this afternoon for what will hopefully be the last visit for some time. 

Shortest day today so enjoy your extra minute of light a day from now.
