are dfs always so rubbish?

My wife bought a sofa from DFS.It took several months until it was delivered and then it came without feet. They are saying 9 weeks to get feet for this currently white elephant sofa
Anybody had success in chivvying them along?

Probably made in the Far East, no spares parts stocked, lead times extended and a month to ship it...
DFS are to furniture what DSG are to consumer electronics.
You could put it up on blocks, if they can be secured.No free lunch, and no free laptop
