Is an ERC paid via a remortgage if changing lender or do you have to pay separately yourself?

Thanks, just wondered if its included in the remortgage balance, moving to HSBC

included in the balance. You apply for an amount that you owe now but hsbc are unique in that they will only release the exact amount required to redeem the mortgage1
