Has my daughter signed up for a SPAM course?

My first posted question correct category? – possible SPAM alert.
My daughter recently signed up for a TradeJobMate electricians course, appears to be similar to Open University but for trade qualifications.
She has now become a little concerned due to, only a couple of but all seem negative, reviews on TrustPilot and the like.
She is now concerned that she may have signed up for a SCAM course.
The pack she has received if lovely, she is learning as she completes the modules but with the negative reviews and a heightened awareness of SCAMS, she has become nervous.
The course materials list “Engineering Real Results”, “Green 360 Ltd”, “TradeJobMate” and use “Caledonian Consumer Finance” the latter with a Direct Debit instruction.
Is there any way to investigate the company further to confirm/allay her concerns.

What qualification is she coming out with? How long will the course last? Is it all module based? Does she not have to do any practical learning?0

Three years, but potentially coursework could be completed sooner.
Distance learning modules with limited practical get togethers at locations around the country - the vague bit to be arranged once module is completed, with possibly more locations coming online into next year. Potential referrals to linked companies.
I believe that after she reaches NVQ level 2/3 she will be able to begin working in the home, memory only.

I can’t find any such company and nothing on Trustpilot under that name either.0

Can you check the name of the training provider, it doesn’t appear in any search. Is your daughter already working in the electrical industry - it seems that NVQ level 3 cannot be taken without completing previous levels. There will always be a practical assessment at a C&G approved trading facility before qualification, not “practical get togethers” if the trainer has been vague about that you should definitely be suspicious. For her own safety she needs practical properly assessed training.1

ERR are listed on the City & Guilds website as an accredited centre and are appropriately regulated by theFCA for credit brokering.
Seems as if it should all be fine if she booked a C&G NVQ with them1 -
ERR seem to be training centre based rather than home learning. It’s the vague “limited practical get togethers” that would worry me for an electrical engineering qualification. I wouldn’t want anyone to work on my home who had learned by online modules.0
