Buying a refurbished iphone

Do you mean a refurbished iPhone, or a secondhand one through a used retail supplier?
Ideally if you want one to keep for a few years then you are looking at the iPhone 11 or SE (2nd Edition) really as the X and SE will likely go end of life with the next release or one after.
iPhones are usually support for around 6 years which is good in the phone market. So comments like 8-9 year old iPhones still working are fine, but they are vulnerable and should not be used for anything other than basic phone services. misleading to be recommending anyone gets one which will go end of support during the period the owner intends to keep it.2 -
Thanks.Yes a s/h phone, I am looking at the 11 or SE as it happens. I am still using an iphone6 but am starting to find apps that won't load or update so it's time at last to upgrade! On a sim only contract.0

Had a couple of phones from Smartfonestore. Great customer service when I had an issue - changed instantly and upgraded.0

I bought a refurb 9.7 iPad Pro in 2016. Still going strong with no problems at all and still getting iOS updates unlike other iPads from that time. If I was ever in need of another refurb I'd always go to Apple. They're like new and you get the full guarantee also Apple Care if you want it.0

Sorry I can't comment on an iPhone
But twice I have bought "pristine" Samsung Galaxy phones from Music Magpie (their terminology, not mine).
I am a fussy so & so & went over the phones very thoroughly to see if their pristine matched mine.
Can't fault them so far.0 -
Bought an iphone from Secondhandphones which turned up and is all good. I'm back up to date and it should be 'current' for further updates for at least 3/4 years.Paired with a new sim only deal from Smarty, if I keep the phone for 2 years it works out at a monthly cost of £13 for both. Happy with that!0
