Hi.
Trying to get this old wireless controlled electric heater/towel rail running. It's a Sunflow CZC1, and uses the shown controller - a CZC1VSFL. It all appears to be working ok, except that the none of the buttons on the controller have any affect on the display - it appears stuck in a programming mode.
It communicates ok with the heater - the green indicator on the heater stops flashing and goes steady when the controller has batteries in it - but I cannot turn the heater on as the 'target' temp is way lower than the actual temp, and I cannot change that. The temperature sensor works fine as it shoots up if I fire my bad breath on it.
I have opened the case and checked the contacts - all are clean, dry, and free from corrosion. None of the buttons are being held down against their will.
I have emailed the manufacturer, but just wondering if anyone has any ideas? Or suggestions for any other controller that might work to get the heater running - owner isn't at all bothered about 'prog' settings, and would only use it manually.
Thanks!

Have you tried the Factory Reset described in the instructions here?
https://sunflowltd.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/Sunflow-Digital-Controller-Install-Guide-CZC1-20200701.pdf
If that doesn't work, I suspect it's goosed and I doubt any modifications would be safe.1 -
Thanks Chris.I'd read that, but - D'oh - I'm not sure I have actually tried it as none of the buttons actually respond, so I'd assumed these wouldn't either :-(You do know that if I try that and it works, I won't be coming back to admit it, don't you...0

I am a twit, @chriswSunflow were great - a guy called me back and said it sounded like the 'lock' setting had been activated, and how to undo it. Followed his instructions and - yup - all good. And this was in the doc you linked to, only I hadn't read that far :-(
