Block paving movement

Hello,

I had my front drive and porch area in front of my door block paved 10 years ago. In the last week i have noticed in the area of block paving in front of my front door has dropped by 1 - 2 cm's in quite even line. This has never happened before and the rest of the drive seems okay could this be frost damage?

    No, I don't think so - unless some pipe bursted underneath.

    Frost normally heaves upwards.

    I agree.  In theory it could be possible for the whole drive to heave upwards, except for the area closest to the house (due to shelter and/or warming from the structure).  But if the area closest to the house has definitely dropped, then it isn't looking likely to be the effect of frost.
