Quickly before it dries, what sort of paint was it oil or water based?
Generally LCD screens should only be cleaned with a slightly damp microfibre cloth.
You might try spectacle cleaning fluid. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

We used to use a 99% Isopropyl alcohol solution spray in work for cleaning computers, it would shift alot off the screens and the plastic casing (including perminant marker with some elbow work, without any degredation to the plastic).
Its not that easy to get hold of now.
TFT often have a coated screen which can be damaged by strong cleaning products. So I would be wary about using it on the screen.
Maybe worth consulting the manufacturor to ask what substances can be used.
By far the strongest solution we ever came accross was the cleaner to shift perminant marker from white boards -
Expo White Board Cleaner - Item Number 365723
from staples.
Be careful if you do try this stuff it is seriously strong cleaner.
Let us know how/if you do clean it off.0 -
phone your insurance co, they may be able to end an expert to just clean it off - saves them paying for a new one.0
