Good spot, but sadly the following clause in the associated T&C rules me, and I suspect loads of other MSErs, out.

You’re not eligible for this offer if you’ve previously received an incentive or benefit for switching to TSB Bank plc using the Current Account Switch Service since 01 October 2022.
TSB haven't always been very good at enforcing their own T&C. Including this one.
They've never had that term before, nor any which determined a specific date.

Prior to this autumn the last time TSB ran a switching incentive was pre-2018, when they migrated away from Lloyds' backend.

This isn't to say you definitely won't get it but it's completely untested.
I'm happy to confirm they've paid me the switching bonus despite not being eligible under their T&C. But I did assist them in that by using a different email address

I am aware of this but with Quidco cash back and a 5er a month for literally no work is still a good return and I need a current account for future offers to benefit more from switches.

Keep an eye out for other Quidco cashback offers for TSB. In October we opened a/cs for a £132 cashback each. It required upgrading to Quidco Premium a/cs but the cashback terms were far less onerous (no switching, DD's or debit card usage required).

On the other hand, the cashback is not due to be paid until May and these TSB offers thru Quidco have been notorious for not paying out correctly.

Does anyone know if I can get the £5 cash back only for the first current account I have with TSB or would I also qualify  for it with a second, third, etc account and get the cash back there as well?

So what is the current account limit with TSB  ? Making those 30 transations with Paypal takes like 2 minutes so with 5 accounts that would be over 6 months £150 and plenty of switching dummy accounts after and I can start again.

Do they run a hard credit check for each account you open or only for the first one when you sign up as new customer?

I've had multiple TSB current accounts in the past, and each one required a hard credit check when I opened them. The plus side however was that I got the £5/month cashback for debit card spend each time. Doesn't seem to be a limit to how many you can have apart from actually being accepted for the account in the first place - at my peak, I had 4 accounts with TSB before I switched most of them away.
